WHAT HAPPENS DURING FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENTS?
Follow-up appointments are designed around your healthcare goals! This may include tailored education and advice regarding treatment options, wellness promotion and preventive healthcare strategies, arranging appropriate investigations or prescriptions, or coordinating care with other healthcare providers to support your ongoing health and wellbeing.

HOW DO I ATTEND MY APPOINTMENT?
Chronic Health Education Support Solutions (CHESS) is an online clinic. All consultations are Telehealth based using our secure platform. Consultations may be arranged via telephone, however these are not preferred.

Appointments are available on selected weekdays during business hours and after hours, including weekends. We aim to accommodate all appointment preferences where possible.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
To make the most of your consultation, we recommend having your relevent medical history, current medications, and any allergies available to discuss. To ensure you are comfortable and free from distractions, please use a fully charged device and choose a quiet, private area, for the duration of your appointment.

CAN I HAVE A SUPPORT PERSON AT MY APPOINTMENT?
Yes. Family or a support person are welcome to sit with you during your consultation.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Full payment will be processed via our secure electronic platform on the day of your appointment. Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer bulk billed services due to changes in Australian government legislation, for telehealth services, since 1 November 2025.
