WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
Allow 40 minutes for your first appointment. We discuss your healthcare goals and determine if CHESS is the right fit to support your needs. Personal information, including relevant health and social history, along with Medicare and payment details is requested. We assess your healthcare needs and outline a management plan that is right for you.

HOW DO I ATTEND MY APPOINTMENT?
Chronic Health Education Support Solutions (CHESS) is an online clinic. All consultations are Telehealth based using our secure platform. Consultations may be arranged via telephone, however these are not preferred. A Telehealth link will be emailed 1 day prior to your appointment (you may need to check you Junk/SPAM folder).

CAN I REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT AFTER HOURS OR ON A WEEKEND?
Absolutely! Appointments are available on selected weekdays during business hours and after hours. Weekend appointments are available between 10am and 3pm. Please advise us of your preferred booking day and time when requesting your initial appointment.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
To make the most of your consultation, we recommend having your relevent medical history and current medications handy. To ensure you are comfortable and free from distractions, please use a fully charged device and choose a quiet, private area, for the duration of your appointment.

CAN I HAVE A SUPPORT PERSON AT MY APPOINTMENT?
Yes. Family or a support person are welcome to sit with you during your consultation.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Payment and up to date Medicare details are requested at your initial appointment. Medicare will cover the cost of your initial consultation. For all follow-up consultations, full payment will be processed on the day of your appointment. Your Medicare rebate will be processed the same day and may take up to 48 hours to be deposited to your nominated account.
